Ambassa (Tripura) October 20, 2021: Holy Spirit Parish, Ambassa conducted three days of marriage preparation course from October 18 to 20.
Twenty-eight participants came from different villages to learn and acquire knowledge on family life. One of the priorities of SVD’s in the ING region is strengthening family life. The Diocese of Agartala has made the marriage preparation course compulsory before the marriage. Ambassa Parish regularly conducts a systematic approach for the youth on marriage. Fr. Ivan D’Silva, SVD, the parish priest of Ambassa and the resource persons, Fr. Hormis John CSC, Mr Sankunga Darlong, Dr Asok Debbaram, Mr Indrajit Sangma, Mr Prabath Marak & Mrs Lata Marak gave talks on different topics related to marriage and family life. Mr Prabath Marak & Mrs Lata Marak also shared their experience of marriage life. Afterwards, the participants received a certificate at the end of the course.
