After the Zonal Coordinators' meeting in Tchitchao - Kara, some JPIC coordinators had an opportunity to visit the Immaculate Conception Parish of Badjoudé in Benin. They are Father Daisuké, the JPIC General Coordinator, Brother Benediktus Uran Wuwur, JPIC Coordinator of the Afram Zone and Father Enfrid Kowot Ujan, JPIC Coordinator of the Province of Botswana and myself as JPIC Coordinator of Togo-Benin Province.

The visit is marked by the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday, June 2, 2019. The faithful of the parish were filled with joy at their presence. At the mass, Father Daisuke encouraged the faithful to live justice, peace and the integration of Creation by having a harmonious relationship with God, with oneself, with others and with the environment.

And to mark the tree planting day in Benin, June 1, after Mass, the JPIC coordinators, together with the faithful planted a few mango trees in the course of the mission. It is a direct implementation of the JPIC plan of action of Afram zone planned in Tchitchao - Kara.
In the end, the faithful invited us to share their local drink to live our brotherhood and union in Jesus Christ.
